That is exactly the heart behind 1Love Christian Church. We are a small, tight-knit family of about 50 to 70 members who believe that the best way to follow Jesus is together. We don’t do the "mega-church" thing. Instead, we focus on authenticity, warmth, and a visionary approach to what church can look like in the 21st century.

Your Sunday Morning Roadmap
For many, Sunday morning is the "front door" of the church. At 1Love Christian Church, we keep things simple and intentional. We know that walking into a new building can be intimidating, so we’ve designed our Sunday schedule to be as welcoming as possible.
9:30 AM – In-Depth Bible Study
Before the main service starts, we gather for a time of deep diving into the Word. This isn't just a lecture; it's a conversation. Led by Dale Cornett, a retired professor with decades of biblical wisdom, this study is perfect for those who want to ask the hard questions and truly understand the context of the scriptures.
10:30 AM – Praise & Worship
After a short fellowship break (with plenty of coffee!), we move into our time of worship. Our music is focused on lifting up the name of Jesus and preparing our hearts for the message. Because we are a smaller congregation, the worship feels intimate: like a family singing together in a living room rather than a concert in a stadium.
11:00 AM – The Sermon
Our sermons are designed to be "Practical Faith for Real Life." We don't just talk about abstract theology; we talk about how to be a better spouse, a more honest worker, and a more compassionate neighbor right here in Boise.
Beyond Sunday: Mid-Week Rhythms
A healthy Boise Christian community doesn't just exist for ninety minutes on a Sunday morning. At 1Love Christian Church, we believe that faith is a seven-day-a-week journey. We have several weekly "rhythms" designed to keep us connected and growing.
- Monday Night Q&A (8:30 PM): Join Pastor Daro on Facebook Live for a casual discussion about Sunday’s sermon. It’s a great way to ask follow-up questions from your couch.
- Tuesday Gospel Training (6:30 PM): For those who want to learn how to share their faith naturally with friends and coworkers.
- Wednesday Night Recharge (6:00 PM): A mid-week boost of prayer and teaching to help you get through to the weekend.
Real Connection: Man Up & Friday Fellowship
If you’re looking for the "secret sauce" of 1Love Christian Church, it’s in our smaller ministry groups. This is where the real life-on-life discipleship happens.
Man Up Men’s Ministry
Every Saturday morning from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM, the men of 1Love Christian Church gather for the Man Up Men’s Ministry. It’s exactly what it sounds like: a group of guys getting together to be better men, fathers, and followers of Christ. There’s no posturing here: just real talk over coffee and the Bible. It’s the perfect entry point for any man looking for a supportive band of brothers in Boise.
Friday Fellowship
Fridays are for family. Our Friday Fellowship starts at 6:30 PM and usually takes place at a rotating list of member homes. We share a meal, we laugh, and we pray for one another. It’s the highlight of the week for many of us because it’s where we truly get to be a family. If you’re a newcomer, this is the fastest way to feel like you belong. Summer 2026: Boise Church Events to Watch For
While we love our internal gatherings, we are also part of the broader Boise church events landscape. This summer is packed with opportunities to connect with other believers across the city.
One big highlight is Summer Splash 2026 on August 6th. Hosted by Project Nation (88.7), this is a massive gathering at Roaring Springs Waterpark in Meridian. It’s a fantastic way to see the sheer scale of the Christian community in the Treasure Valley.
Additionally, many families in our congregation participate in the various city-wide park days and community outreaches that pop up throughout July. Being a small church doesn't mean we stay in a bubble; it means we have a solid "home base" from which we go out and engage with everything Boise has to offer.
Why "Small" is the New "Big"
In a world that often prizes "bigger and better," there is something radical about a church of 60 people. At 1Love Christian Church, you won't get lost in the shuffle. If you miss a week, someone will actually notice: not to judge you, but because they genuinely missed your presence.
We often talk about "Grace Over Perfection." This is a core value for us. We aren't a group of people who have it all figured out. We are a group of people who are willing to be messy, honest, and vulnerable as we follow a perfect Savior.
