The Heart of Our Community: 1Love Christian Church
Before we dive into the city-wide festivities, it’s important to understand the foundation of our connection. 1Love Christian Church is a small, devoted community where no one is just a face in the crowd. We focus on authentic relationships and "Grace Over Perfection." Whether you’ve lived in Boise for decades or are looking for a new spiritual home, our doors are wide open.
Our weekly rhythm is designed to recharge your spirit and provide consistent touchpoints for fellowship. We invite you to join us for our regular gatherings:
- Sunday Morning Worship & Study:
- 9:30 AM: In-Depth Bible Study (Led by Dale Cornett, bringing decades of wisdom).
- 10:00 AM: Fellowship & Coffee (A time to catch up and welcome new friends).
- 10:30 AM: Praise & Worship.
- 11:00 AM: The Sermon.
- Wednesday Night ReCharge (6:00 PM – 8:00 PM): A midweek boost for both adults and teens to grow together.
- Friday Fellowship (6:30 PM): Hosted at various homes, this is a beautiful time of dinner, prayer, and sharing life.
- Man Up Men’s Ministry (Saturdays, 8:30 AM – 10:00 AM): A space for men to find strength, accountability, and brotherhood.
Upcoming Boise Events: Where Faith Meets Community
Living out our faith means being present in our city. Boise is alive with energy this summer, and we’ve rounded up several local events starting after July 14, 2026, where you can enjoy the beauty of our community.
Roosevelt Market Block Party – July 18
Kick off your weekend in the historic East End! On Saturday, July 18, from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM, the Roosevelt Market Block Party will bring neighbors together for live music, local food, and activities for the kids. This is a perfect example of a "neighborhood-style" gathering that aligns with our church’s value of intimate, local connection. Look for fellow 1Love Christian Church members in the crowd!
Music on the Mountain – July 25
There is something inherently spiritual about being high up in the mountains. On Saturday, July 25, head up to Bogus Basin for "Music on the Mountain." It’s a wonderful chance to enjoy God’s creation while listening to live performances. Pack a picnic, bring a blanket, and enjoy the cooler mountain air with friends.
Soil To Soul July Dinner – July 27
For those who appreciate the intersection of local food and intentional conversation, the Soil To Soul dinner on Monday, July 27, is a must. These farm-to-table events focus on the "soul" of the community through shared meals: much like our own Friday Fellowship dinners. It’s a beautiful way to celebrate the bounty of Idaho and connect with fellow Boiseans.
San Inazio Festival – July 31 – August 2
Boise’s Basque heritage is a cornerstone of our city's identity. The San Inazio Festival takes over the Basque Block downtown from July 31 to August 2. With traditional music, dancing, and incredible food, it’s a celebration of culture and family. We encourage our congregation to attend and experience the rich traditions that make Boise such a special place to live.
Ongoing Summer Connections
If you can’t make the specific dates above, there are plenty of recurring ways to stay connected to the Boise Christian community:
- Global Gatherings (Thursdays): Throughout the summer, keep an eye out for "Global Gatherings" on Thursday evenings. These events celebrate the diverse cultures represented in the Treasure Valley through music and food.
- Green Acres Food Truck Park: Located right off the Boise River Greenbelt, Green Acres is a summer staple. Many of our small groups meet here on ongoing summer evenings for live music and a casual dinner. It’s an easy, low-pressure way to invite a friend to meet your church family.

In a world that can often feel fragmented, the "1Love" way is about bridging gaps. We believe that a Boise Christian community is strongest when it is active, visible, and welcoming. By attending these local events and our church ministries, you aren't just filling your calendar; you are building the relationships that sustain faith.
Whether we are studying the Word at 9:30 AM on a Sunday or sharing a taco at a food truck park, the goal remains the same: to love God and love our neighbors as ourselves.
