1. Let Scripture Be Your First Word
It is so easy to reach for the phone the second our eyes open. We check the news, our social feeds, or the weather. But when we do that, we’re letting the world set the tone for our day. Instead, try letting God’s Word have the first say.
At 1Love Christian Church, we place a high value on the authority of the Bible. We believe it’s the "inerrant Word of God, suitable for all matters of faith and practice" (2 Timothy 3:16-17). Starting your day with even just one chapter: or even a few verses: roots your mind in truth.
You don’t have to be a biblical scholar to start. Maybe start in the Psalms to find encouragement, or work your way through the Gospel of John. The goal isn’t to check a box; it’s to hear from your Heavenly Father.
