2. Our Friday Fellowship is the Heart of Our Week
Church shouldn't just happen on Sundays. One of the most unique aspects of our community is our Friday Fellowship. Every Friday at 6:30 PM, we gather at different homes for a shared dinner, conversation, and Bible study.
It’s completely casual: kids are running around, the food is homemade, and the conversation is real. It’s where "church" becomes "family." These gatherings are one of the primary ways we build deep, lasting relationships that go beyond a quick "hello" in a sanctuary.
3. "Man Up" Men’s Ministry
We believe that strong families start with men who are grounded in their faith and character. Our Man Up Men’s Ministry meets every Saturday morning from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM.
This isn't a stiff, formal meeting. It’s a group of guys getting together to talk about real-life challenges: how to be better husbands, fathers, and friends. We look at what the Bible says about manhood and encourage one another to step up and lead with love and integrity. It’s a core part of how we support the families in our congregation.
4. Authentic, Visionary Worship
Our worship style is inspirational and visionary. We believe that praising God should be a joyful, authentic experience. On Sunday mornings, our Praise & Worship begins at 10:30 AM, and it’s a time where we set aside the stress of the week and focus on the hope we have in Jesus. You won’t find high-production light shows or professional-grade stage sets here; instead, you’ll find a group of people singing from the heart.
5. We Dive Deep into the Word
If you’re looking for more than just a 20-minute "TED talk" on Sundays, you’ll love our approach to scripture. We value biblical literacy and spiritual growth.
Every Sunday at 9:30 AM, we host an In-Depth Bible Study. Led by experienced teachers, including a retired Boise Bible College professor, these sessions allow us to ask tough questions and dig into the context of the Bible. It’s the perfect way to prep your heart before the main service begins.
6. A Safe and Engaging Space for Kids
Being a family-friendly church in Boise means making sure the youngest members of the family are cared for and excited to be here. Our Kids Ministry isn't just "babysitting." We provide a safe, fun environment where children learn about God’s love through age-appropriate teaching, crafts, and games. 9. Wednesday Night ReCharge
Midweek can be tough. Work, school, and life have a way of draining our batteries by Wednesday afternoon. That’s why we host Wednesday Night ReCharge from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. This is a midweek boost of community and growth for both teens and adults. It’s a chance to reconnect, pray together, and get that spiritual "refill" needed to finish the week strong.
10. A Place Where You Can Serve
Because we are a small congregation, everyone’s gifts matter. Whether you have a talent for music, a heart for hospitality, a passion for teaching kids, or a desire to work behind the scenes with technology, there is a place for you to serve. We don't just want you to attend; we want you to belong. Serving together on one of our "Serve Teams" is one of the quickest ways to feel like a true part of the 1Love Christian Church family.
