The peace and spiritual recharge of our Sunday gathering can sometimes feel like a distant memory by the time the alarm clock goes off and the reality of emails, chores, and a busy schedule sets in.
But here’s the good news: the grace we celebrated yesterday doesn’t have an expiration date. It’s not just for Sunday mornings between 10:30 and noon. It’s for your commute on the I-84, your mid-morning coffee break, and your evening reflections. As a small, tight-knit community of about 50 to 70 believers, we understand that faith isn’t about big spectacles; it’s about the intimate, daily walk with Jesus.
Today, we want to dive into some Monday morning Bible teaching to help you keep your eyes fixed on Christ as you navigate the week ahead in the beautiful Treasure Valley.
New Mercies for a New Week
There is a beautiful promise found in Lamentations 3:22–23 that feels particularly relevant on a Monday morning: "The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness."
Think about that for a second. God’s mercies are not recycled from last week. They aren't "leftovers" from Sunday’s service. They are fresh, specifically prepared for whatever challenges you might face today. Whether you are heading into a stressful meeting or managing a busy household, God has provided a fresh batch of grace just for you.
Being a Bible teaching church in Boise, we place a high value on internalizing these truths. It’s one thing to hear a message on Sunday, but it’s another to let that word "dwell in you richly" (Colossians 3:16) when the week gets tough. We aren't just a group that meets once a week; we are a family that walks through the ups and downs of life together.

Worshiping in a smaller congregation allows us to really know one another’s stories. We aren't just faces in a crowd of thousands; we are brothers and sisters who know each other's names, prayer requests, and favorite coffee spots. This intimacy is where true spiritual growth happens.
Small Groups: Where the Word Becomes Flesh
One of the best ways to grow your faith during the week is through intentional fellowship. At 1Love Christian Church, we believe that the "Big Church" experience on Sunday is essential, but the "Small Church" experience in living rooms and coffee shops is where the "rubber meets the road."
Our Friday Fellowship Dinners are a perfect example of this. We gather in different homes to share a meal, laugh, and discuss how God is working in our lives. It’s based on the early church model in Acts 2:46: "And day by day, attending the temple together and breaking bread in their homes, they received their food with glad and generous hearts."
When you are part of a community of 50-70 people, you find that you can’t hide. And that’s a good thing! It means people are there to celebrate your wins and carry you through your losses. This is the heart of what makes us a unique Bible teaching church in Boise: we don't just teach the Bible; we strive to live it out in our relationships.
Applying Sunday’s Boise Sermons to Your Monday

Growth doesn't happen in a vacuum. It requires accountability and iron-sharpening-iron relationships. This is exactly what our Man Up Men’s Ministry is all about. In a world that often gives conflicting messages about what it means to be a man, we look to the Word of God for our identity.
The men of 1Love Christian Church meet to support one another, pray for their families, and study what it looks like to lead with humility and strength. Whether you are a young professional, a father, or a retiree, there is a place for you to connect and grow. When the men of a church are healthy and rooted in the Word, the entire community thrives.
