Your Sunday Morning at 1Love Christian Church
If you’re planning a visit, we want to make it as easy as possible for you to jump in. We’ve designed our Sunday mornings to be a blend of deep study, heartfelt worship, and practical teaching.
Here is what our Sunday morning looks like:
- 9:30 AM – Bible Study: This is where we dig deep. Led by experienced teachers, our Bible Study hour is interactive and engaging. It’s a time to dive into the scriptures, ask the tough questions, and see how the ancient Word applies to our modern Boise lives.
- 10:30 AM – Worship: Our worship service is casual but focused. We sing together, pray together, and prepare our hearts for the message. It’s a time to breathe and reset before the week begins.
- 11:00 AM – Sermon: Our sermons are rooted in the Bible and focused on real-life application. We believe that if the Gospel doesn't change how you treat your coworkers or how you raise your kids, we aren't doing it right.
Man Up: Strengthening Men in the Treasure Valley
One of the cornerstones of our community is the Man Up Men’s Ministry. We recognize that men in Boise face unique pressures and responsibilities. The "Man Up" program isn't about being perfect; it’s about showing up.
Meeting on Saturday mornings and through various events during the year, Man Up provides a space for men to be vulnerable, hold one another accountable, and grow into the leaders, fathers, and friends God called them to be. Whether we are meeting for breakfast at a local diner or heading out for a service project, the goal is always the same: to build a brotherhood that stands the test of time.
Fellowship Beyond the Four Walls
At 1Love Christian Church, we believe the "church" isn't a building you visit; it's a community you belong to. That’s why our fellowship often spills over into our homes and neighborhoods.
One of our favorite traditions is our Friday Fellowship Dinner. We believe some of the best ministry happens over a shared meal. These dinners are casual, kid-friendly, and open to anyone. It’s a chance to relax after a long work week, share a laugh, and enjoy the company of friends. In a fast-paced world, these moments of slow, intentional connection are where some of the deepest spiritual growth happens.
Deepening Your Faith: In-Depth Bible Study
For those who want to take their knowledge of the Bible to the next level, we offer specialized studies throughout the year. Our In-Depth Bible Study, often led by seasoned scholars like Dale Cornett (a retired Boise Bible College professor), offers a level of academic and spiritual rigor that you won't find in many larger churches.
We believe that a "visionary and inspirational" faith must also be a "grounded" faith. By understanding the context, history, and original language of the Bible, we are better equipped to live out its truths in our daily lives.
