We are a tight-knit community of about 50 to 70 people who believe that faith is best lived out in circles, not just rows. Your Sunday Morning Roadmap
We know that walking into a new place can be a little intimidating. Where do I go? What happens first? To help you feel right at home, here is how we spend our Sunday mornings together at 1Love Christian Church.
9:30 AM – In-Depth Bible Study
Before the music starts and the main service begins, we gather for a deep dive into the Word. Led by experienced teachers like Dale Cornett, this isn't just a lecture. It’s an interactive time where we explore biblical wisdom and how it applies to our modern lives in Boise. It’s a great way to wake up your spirit and your mind.
10:00 AM – Fellowship & Coffee
We believe some of the best ministry happens over a cup of coffee. This thirty-minute gap is designed for us to catch up, meet new friends, and just enjoy being in each other's company. If it’s your first time, this is the perfect moment to grab a donut and introduce yourself!
10:30 AM – Praise & Worship
Our worship is contemporary, Spirit-led, and heartfelt. We don’t care about perfection; we care about presence. It’s a time to lift our voices together and shift our focus from our weekly stresses to the greatness of God.
11:00 AM – The Sermon
Pastor Daro and our leadership team bring messages that are practical, biblical, and grace-centered. We don’t just want to give you information; we want to provide inspiration that you can actually use when you head back to work or school on Monday.
Man Up: Strength in Fellowship
One of the most talked-about Boise church events in our community is our Man Up Men’s Ministry.
Every Saturday morning from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM, the men of 1Love Christian Church gather to sharpen one another. It’s more than just coffee and snacks (though we have those, too!). It’s a space where men can be authentic about their lives, grow in their faith, and learn what it truly means to "Man Up" in a way that honors God and serves their families. In a world that often gives confusing signals about masculinity, this ministry provides a solid, biblical foundation for the men of Boise.
Friday Fellowship: Faith Beyond the Four Walls
We don’t think church should only happen in a sanctuary. Life happens in living rooms, around dinner tables, and in the quiet moments of the week. That’s why Friday Fellowship is the heartbeat of our social connection.
Starting at 6:30 PM every Friday, we meet at different homes throughout the Boise area. We share a meal, we pray, and we simply "do life" together. It’s modeled after the early church in Acts, where they broke bread from house to house. This informal setting allows for deeper conversations and the kind of support system that a Sunday morning service alone can't provide. If you’re looking for a place to truly belong, Friday Fellowship is where it happens.
Why Our Size is Our Strength
You might wonder why we intentionally stay focused on a smaller, tight-knit group. In a world of "bigger is better," we’ve found that "smaller is deeper."
When a church is around 50–70 members, something magical happens. You know when someone is missing. You know when a family is celebrating a new baby or grieving a loss. You have the opportunity to use your unique spiritual gifts in a way that truly impacts the community.
