The New Testament writers used a specific Greek word to describe the relationship between believers: Koinonia. It’s often translated as "fellowship," but it carries the weight of shared participation, partnership, and a common life.

Friday Fellowship: More Than Just a Meal
One of our favorite rhythms here is our Friday Fellowship. Every Friday at 6:30 PM, we gather in homes across the Boise area. There’s something special about moving out of a church building and into a living room.
Friday Fellowship is designed to be low-pressure and high-connection. It’s a space where you can show up exactly as you are: whether you’ve had a great week or a grueling one. We share a meal, talk about life, and usually dive into a short discussion or prayer time.

It’s the perfect "front door" for anyone looking to see what our community is all about without the formality of a Sunday morning service.
Sunday Morning: Starting with Connection
If you’ve ever been to a mega-church, you know the drill: you show up right as the music starts, sit in the dark, and leave as soon as the last "Amen" is said. At 1Love Christian Church, we do things a little differently.
We believe that the time before the sermon is just as important as the sermon itself. That’s why our Sunday Fellowship begins at 10:00 AM.
Before we move into Praise & Worship at 10:30 AM, we take thirty minutes to catch up. There’s coffee, there are snacks, and most importantly, there are real conversations. This isn’t just filler time; it’s a deliberate choice to prioritize people. It’s a chance to meet someone new, check in on a friend who was sick last week, or simply sit and enjoy the presence of others before we lift our voices in worship together.
For those who want to go even deeper before the fellowship starts, we also host an In-Depth Bible Study from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM. It’s a great way to prime your heart for the morning ahead.
Wednesday Night Recharge: Midweek Fuel
Let’s be honest: by Wednesday, the "Sunday high" can start to fade. The stress of work, the demands of family, and the general busyness of life in Boise can leave us feeling a bit drained.
That’s where Wednesday Night Recharge comes in. From 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, we gather to refuel. It’s a time specifically designed for spiritual growth and community support. Whether we are working through a specific book of the Bible, discussing a recent sermon, or simply spending time in focused prayer, the goal is the same: to recharge our spiritual batteries so we can finish the week strong.
This is also a great time for our 1Love Kid’s Ministry and teens to connect. We believe that fellowship isn't just for adults; our younger generation needs to know they belong to a community that loves and supports them too.
